Gitarist review

Here's the translation:

Who? A British quintet that brings throbbing/roaring groovy neo blues. Do we need to say any more?
How does it sound this time?
See through the stammering title, and you'll find a mighty fine debut album.
Combine the sleazy harmonica of Lester Butler of the Red Devils with the songs of The Paladins and the country blues feel of Keb mo' and you're getting close.
Guitarist Joel Fisk goes from minimalistic staccatobeats to accoustic and electric solo's and heavy slidework. And somewhere in the back screams/howls the harmonica of Giles King.

Cool moments? Damn cool rhythm section. Drummer Stephen Cutmore usually has his own party in each song and groovy blues are always great blues.
Listen, for instance, to the swampy feel of Chocolate Cake or the pulsing/propelling Tom Rushen Blues.

Hokie Joint slows down a little in Clarksdale Mill and the most beautiful guitarmoment of this CD is the glowing electric solo on The Crying Song.
So? Britblues is alive. So proves this record.
